Comfort-Aire ductless air conditioners offer the consumer single zone to four zone flexibility in capacities from 9,000 to 60,000 BTU/h. The ductless condensing units are designed in four cabinet styles to be used in conjunction with the indoor evaporators to give you the maximum in versatility and efficiency.
The RAS/RS/RST condensing units are designed with vertical air flow for quiet efficiency available in single zone capacities from 9,000 to 48,000 BTU/h. The CU2 cabinet houses the two zone capacities ranging from 18,000 to 30,000 BTU/h in a low profile horizontal air flow style. The CU4 multi-zone is a single cabinet with two to four compressors. This vertical air flow design has total capacities of 27,000 to 60,000 BTU/h. All outdoor condensing units are designed for low ambient operation down to 18°C (0°F). Each unit uses a single speed low RPM condenser fan motor for quiet operation. For ease of installation and service, all condensing units allow for up to 90' tubing runs (per zone) including up to 35' vertical lift, the condensing units include service valves.
